Le Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix
Le Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix—an Experience Between River and Mountains.
Le Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix network straddles the territories of the Côte-de-Beaupré and Charlevoix. It offers unique views on the Saint Lawrence River, the Montmagny Archipelago through Ile aux Coudres all while providing access to exceptional forest ecosystems, including forests that are nearly 400 years old.
Accessible for a daily hike or for a few days, this network consists of nearly 70 km of hiking (or snowshoeing) trails, 35 km of cross-country ski trails, 9 rustic shelters, 31 camping platforms and around 20 lookouts.
For amateurs of long hikes, the main trail runs along most of its 51 km length, the capes that line the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River, between Cap Tourmente and Petite-Rivière-Saint-François. Our network is divided in two large interconnected sectors:
- Saint-Tite-des-Caps sector
- Charlevoix (Le Massif) sector
